I might buy a Kelly Clarkson CD. I never really liked her because of all the American Idol hoopla... but whenever I listen to SIRIUS Hits #1 her songs catch my attention. I really like her voice and the lyrics are pretty good too.
My favorite random fun song right now is Akon - Belly Dancer. "Don't be shy girl - go Banaza - Shake ya body like a belly dancer" It's got a great beat :)

No not because Halloween is my fav holiday, I could take it or leave it.
1 - The weather is amazing!!!
2 - The colors take my breath away everyday!
3 - Pumpkin Ice Cream (I need to find a new place to get it now that the Crank is gone!)
4 - Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory (even though the closest one is Tysons)
5 - Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Pancakes at Gillies
6 - Pumpkin Pie Blizzards at DQ
7 - Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnuts at Krispy Kreme
8 - Last but not least, lots of HOKIE FOOTBALL and friends in town!

Funny Enlightenments....

Sitting around BW3's chatting last night, some great thoughts :)
1 - You know how we have the CL and the PCL. PCL - Potential Crush List - no commitment involved, constantly changing, you can place people here for a while to see if they are worthy of the CL. CL - Crush List (aka OCL - Official) - much more elite, someone has to be pretty special, it's not usually a long list. It's an honor to make it on a CL or PCL :) So anyways... last night we were questioned if we have a 'no list'. We do now...It's been named the ANL. Absolutely Not List :) haha
2 - We were also discussing the stupid things guys do. Like say wear a shirt that says "The Man (arrow up) The Legend (arrow down)" or mentioning on a first date enabling a friend to have an affair. Our initial thought was 'what are these guys thinking??', but we quickly changed our tune to be thankful that these guys are wearing a loud and clear sign. - I'M A DUD - STAY AWAY - If only all signs were so easy to read :) These two guys.. on the ANL :)

Trick or Treat?

What are you going to be for halloween? Or your best costume ever? Or other funny halloween stories you want to share :)
Let's see one year I was a car hop... roller skates and all. It rained that night... wet leaves and roller skates don't really go well together. Another year I was a mummy and wrapped myself in sheets... cool costume, yet not very durable. The sheets started slipping and I basically had to rewrap myself after every house or else I'd trip over the drooping sheets. I was in a very very bad mood by the time we got home!
In college I showed up to the AGR house in my homemade hooters girl outfit. I'd made a t-shirt into a tanktop and wore orange pants... definitely outdone by the girls that showed up in the real deal. Anyways... this guy that was in my B&B pledge class who I didn't really know but was always around B&B, AGR, and Kicks (and always drinking), when he would see me (...for years) first thing out of his mouth - "you're the hooters girl" (in an "I'm drunk and from tazewell" way). Todd Caudell *shakes head* He always made me laugh. Me, I'd like to forget that costume!!
I'm obviously not very creative in my choices... this year I'm thinking Punky Brewster :) Unless someone has a better suggestion!

Since when is Krispy Kreme not 24 hours? Tried to stop in Salem at 11:30 last night and it was dark!! Apparently they now close at 9 on weekdays.... what the crap!! KK just lost big points in my book!!

I should already be following my AZ training program.. problem is I haven't laid it out yet. Oh well.. I did drag myself to the gym at 6am yesterday for a 3 mile run. Usually my brain is in constant battle will my body to keep running.. or stop. Wierd, yesterday I was loving it. No ailments were hurting, I wasn't bored, I wasn't tired. I even started doing some intervals with increasing speed. I finished mile 3 and decided to keep going... running mile 4 in 9:15. (that's fast for me!) Not sure what I ate that gave me such energy, but it was great to enjoy a run :) Maybe the rest of training will go this well!!
In other exciting news.... Abby lands in Roanoke at 11:20pm!! You know the sugarshack will be full of energy and trouble the next 10 days while she's in town :) I can't wait!!
